Job Title: Accounting Clerk

About the Role:
Our client, a well-established non-profit organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join their remote team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3–5 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform vendor statement reconciliations , ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable.
Place purchase orders with vendors, maintaining proper documentation and follow-up.
Handle customer sales orders , including creating quotes and maintaining records.
Conduct inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy between physical inventory and accounting records.
Collaborate with various departments to support daily accounting functions.
Report directly to the Accounting Manager or Controller (depending on company structure).
Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk, preferably in healthcare or food manufacturing environments.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and inventory systems.
Experience working in medium-sized companies is an asset.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
