Troubleshoot and perform maintenance in HVAC systems.
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and related tasks for HVAC and plumbing equipment in school division facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe, clean and orderly environment.
Assist with projects identified by Manager or Supervisors requiring the services of skilled craftsperson(s).
Perform various maintenance and repair tasks on buildings and building envelopes.
Inspect and ensure the safe operation of equipment, making adjustments, calibrations, replacements, rebuilds, and repairs as necessary.
Assist in obtaining quotes and arranging services from external vendors.




Monitor maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
Work on maintenance related tasks assigned by the Journeyman or Supervisor.
Perform other assigned job-related duties.
High school student in the High Prairie area.
Experience or interest in Trades an asset (plumbing, carpentry, electrical).
Solid interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
Valid class 5 driver’s license is a requirement.
Access to personal vehicle is an asset.
Salary based on experience and first year apprentice wages.
Schedule to be determined with successful candidate’s school schedule
Full days preferred as there is travel required to get to schools in High Prairie area
