Join the Lax Kw’alaams Maintenance Department as a Full-Time Driver, providing secure transportation for community members and supplies. This position involves operating various vehicles while maintaining a high level of customer service.

As a key member of the Lax Kw’alaams community, you will be responsible for transporting staff, students, and supplies efficiently. You must possess strong driving skills and a valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence with an Air Brake Endorsement. Ensure safety and compliance while providing courteous service in all transportation tasks across varying road conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive company vehicles safely and reliably on established routes
• Maintain passenger and delivery logs accurately daily




• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately
• Assist passengers with mobility needs and luggage

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence with Air Brake Endorsement
• Experience in motorcoach or commercial driving
• Previous customer service experience
• Clean driver’s abstract and commitment to safety
