Engage diverse communities as a Cultural Workshop Facilitator, responsible for organizing cultural workshops for IRS 60’s Scoop Survivors and their families. This role requires excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of First Nation’s traditions.
The Cultural Workshop Facilitator will work under the direction of the Director of Service Delivery and IRS Program Coordinator. Your mission is to set up weekly workshops, engaging Knowledge Keepers and participants. You will need to be punctual, reliable, and well-organized to ensure smooth operations across all events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize workshops on cultural and spirituality topics
• Coordinate with presenters and Knowledge Keepers
• Draft informational posters for workshops
• Confirm attendance with participants
• Manage workshop records and materials inventory
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of First Nation’s cultural values
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings
