The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.You will perform, using air-powered hand tools or semi-automatic equipment, the grinding of attachment points of main landing gear components according to specifications. This operation requires a high level of precision to create the exact dimensions of the rings that will be installed to accommodate the other mechanical parts.You will also be required to:
- inspect parts using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications
- machine using a lathe and install the rings
- apply sealant
- complete the appropriate Quality Assurance documentation
- contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and achieving objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on-time deliveriesLet's talk about you




- DEP in aircraft structure assembly or a DES (equivalence certificate not accepted) with relevant experience
- Experience in manual work with pneumatic tools in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in manual grinding or assembly in aerospace is an asset
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring instruments (calipers and micrometers)

- The salary for this position starts between $29.52 and $39.73 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training and your progression in acquiring job-related skills, the hourly wage will increase up to a maximum of $45.12.
