WSP is seeking an Intermediate Water Quality Modeller to join its multidisciplinary teams. In this role, you'll focus on hydrodynamic modelling, water quality assessments, and environmental impact studies. Your contributions will assist in guiding projects from feasibility through regulatory approval and mine closure phases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and apply water quality models for diverse aquatic systems
• Calibrate and validate models for effective water management strategies
• Contribute to comprehensive environmental impact assessments
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and inform decisions
• Prepare high-quality reports and regulatory submissions
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in water quality or hydrodynamic modelling
• Degree in Environmental, Civil, or Water Resources Engineering
• Registered or eligible for registration in a Canadian jurisdiction
• Experience with modelling platforms like MIKE3 or GoldSim
• Proficiency in data analysis using Python, R, or MATLAB
