Waasmoowin Opportunities and Consultation Council is hiring two Environmental Monitors committed to cultural heritage and environmental compliance. This full-time role requires teamwork to oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to protection plans. You'll apply both Indigenous knowledge and scientific practices while gaining invaluable field experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Observe and understand construction activities and compliance
• Document field observations and collect data




• Strictly follow health and safety regulations
• Complete checklists and regular reporting tasks
• Engage in ongoing training for compliance measures

Requirements:
• Respect for Anishnawbek culture and traditions
• Versatile working hours including weekends
• Valid Class “G” driver's license required
• Willingness to travel along the construction corridor
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
