Provide valuable overnight support as a Night Counselor at Stella’s Circle, a leading social justice organization. Help residents develop life skills and manage crises in a nurturing environment.

The Night Counselor position involves providing essential counselling and support services during overnight shifts. You will collaborate closely with Social Workers, co-facilitate counseling groups, and address the immediate needs of residents. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being of individuals facing a variety of challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in delivery of counselling services with Social Workers
• Co-facilitate group therapy for residents
• Review admission applications and provide recommendations




• Offer supportive counselling for interpersonal and crisis situations
• Conduct regular room and building security checks

Requirements:
• University degree in Social Sciences required
• ASIST and First Aid/CPR certification needed
• Experience supporting mental health and addictions
• Robust interpersonal and organizational skills
• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required
