Agape ECS is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and skilled Kindergarten Teacher to join our team as a maternity leave replacement. The position would be from December 2026-December 2o27.
The teacher will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support the Alberta Kindergarten Program and Agape ECS’s philosophy and values.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences
Follow and support the Alberta Kindergarten curriculum and applicable ECS requirements
Observe, document, and assess children’s learning and development
Develop learning goals and activities based on children’s individual strengths, interests and needs
Maintain accurate classroom and child documentation
Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, flexibility and a willingness to work as part of a team
