An Edmonton client is seeking a mechanically inclined Service Technician to join their growing team and support the diagnosis, repair, rebuilding, and testing of industrial powertrain components.

Service Technician Highlights

Diagnose mechanical failures and determine appropriate repair solutions.

Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild transmissions, axles, and drivetrain components.

Troubleshoot worn bearings, damaged gears, clutch failures, and other mechanical issues.

Read service manuals, schematics, and OEM specifications.

Test rebuilt components using OEM test benches and document results.

Prepare completed units for shipment.

Provide occasional local field service and technical support.

Participate in daily toolbox meetings.





Spend approximately 70% of the time in the shop and 30% supporting customers in office.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience repairing industrial or off-road equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Comfortable using diagnostic equipment.

Ability to read service manuals and schematics.

Basic hydraulic knowledge; training is available.

Comfortable working with basic electrical systems.

Valid driver's licence.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Hours & Wage

Wage: $31.50–$50.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
