Become a Family Navigator at Camino Wellbeing + Mental Health in a full-time capacity. This role is crucial for supporting families of children with mental health challenges through compassionate coordination and advocacy.
Joining the Polaris team, you will guide families from intake through treatment, acting as both coordinator and advocate. This role emphasizes employing trauma-informed methods and building meaningful connections with families in various settings. You’ll design tailored treatment plans, ensuring access to both formal and informal support resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet families in homes and community locations
• Facilitate engagement through effective communication
• Administer Child and Youth Mental Health assessments
• Coordinate specialist assessments as needed
• Advocate and communicate on families’ behalf
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Degree in Child and Youth or related field
• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches
• First-Aid and CPR-C certification
• Solid understanding of children's mental health
