Shape the future of health education as a Health Coordinator at North Island College. This sessional role focuses on program development and high-quality instructional support.
Reporting to the Dean, the Health Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting both the Access to Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Practical Nursing programs. Responsibilities include collaborating with faculty, conducting needs assessments, and enhancing student recruitment initiatives. You will facilitate the creation of current programs while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Dean's office on program development
• Support faculty in delivering high-quality educational programming
• Conduct community needs assessments for health programming
• Develop recruitment strategies to enhance student success
• Maintain effective communication across departments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in a relevant health field
• Minimum five years in post-secondary education
• Experience in student recruitment and program development
• Familiarity with Indigenous community programming
• Valid BC driver’s license for campus travel
