Stream-Flo Industries is currently seeking a Valve Technician to work with our Aftermarket Services team in Edmonton, Alberta .

Work Conditions:

Monday to Friday, 8 hour days

Currently ample opportunity for Overtime .

Work is primarily performed indoors .

Key position functions include:

Repair all valve equipment while maintaining high standards of production, documentation and safety

Tear down, reassemble and troubleshoot valve equipment for repair in accordance with Company standards and procedures and follow Work Order specifications

Test, grease, inspect, and stamp valves

Maintain accurate database and documentation

Calibrate, function test, and trouble shoot choke valves, and a variety of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric positioners and actuation

Record non-conformances as required

Organize and maintain the work area, including maintenance of equipment, product storage containers and racking





Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work setting

Occasional yard maintenance work

After-hours availability when required

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:

High School Diploma

Related valve repair, rebuild, and/or teardown experience is an asset, but training is provided

A basic understanding of hand and power tool functionality

Strong mechanical aptitude

Forklift experience is an asset

Good communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
