Pacific Western Transportation is looking for an energetic Recruiter to join our team and help us attract, screen, and hire top talent in a high-volume recruitment environment. If you enjoy talking to people, staying organized, and managing multiple openings at once, this could be the perfect role for you.

What You'll Do

Manage high-volume recruitment campaigns for multiple positions

Review applications and identify qualified candidates quickly

Conduct phone screens and schedule interviews

Build talent pipelines and maintain candidate databases

Coordinate hiring activities with managers and operational teams

Prepare job postings and actively source candidates through various channels

Ensure a positive candidate experience from application to hire

Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Able to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and enthusiasm





Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Comfortable working with recruitment systems, databases, and applicant tracking software

Self-motivated and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

Resilient and persistent when faced with challenging hiring markets

Driven by goals, deadlines, and measurable results

Qualifications

Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources (or working towards)

Experience in high-volume hiring environments preferred

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office

Previous experience with UKG or JD Edwards considered an asset

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
