Degelman Industries LP is looking for an individual to join our team as a Shotblast Operator . Purpose of the Job: Operate a blast booth to clean fabricated steel components prior to painting.
Essential functions and responsibilities: Operate the blast booth at a rate that allows the production line to maintain throughput.
Inspect and prepare fabricated components prior to painting.
Hang fabricated components in a manner that allows the operator to blast efficiently and have access to all areas.
Other duties and responsibilities: Hanging and removing parts from the assembly line.




Applying decals chipping, caulking and assembling product.
Knowledge and Skills: Must be familiar with measuring and maintaining blast profile.
Working Conditions: Must be able to work with minimal supervision and direction.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
This position requires shift work.
This position requires the wearing of protective breathing apparel, protective mask and headgear and the operation of a blasting gun dispersing pressures of up to 100 ft lbs.
