About the Role Our client is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join their team in Kimberley. This role is crucial for supporting the daily operations of the communications department, managing various communication channels, and ensuring the smooth execution of PR and marketing initiatives. You will play a key role in drafting content, coordinating events, and assisting with media relations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong administrative abilities, and a passion for contributing to a positive brand image within the Northern Cape region.
Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external communication strategies.
Draft and edit content for newsletters, intranet, social media, and other communication platforms.
Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and press conferences.
Support media relations activities, including monitoring coverage and maintaining contact databases.
Manage the distribution of communication materials and ensure brand consistency.




Provide administrative support to the communications and marketing teams.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline.
1-2 years of experience in a communications, PR, or marketing support role.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting, based in or near Kimberley.
