Job Description Location: Toronto, Ontario – 100% Onsite Contract: September 21, 2026 – March 31, 2027 Extension: Up to 1 additional term Openings: 1 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, excluding lunch Clearance: No clearance required Submission Limit: 1 candidate Closing Date: October 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM EST Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Developer – CRM to support the Government Services Integration Cluster within the Ontario Public Service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating technical system specifications into fully functional, tested, and documented applications, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, custom development, integrations, and CRM solutions .

The resource will work closely with IT professionals, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and will be responsible for application design, development, testing, troubleshooting, implementation, migration, and post-implementation support.

This is a 100% onsite position in Toronto , Monday through Friday.

Mandatory Technical Skills Candidates must demonstrate experience in the following areas: Agile methodologies , including Kanban and task boards.

Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, and Azure solution design.

Dynamics 365 interoperability, integration, and capability with other Microsoft cloud technologies .

Both low-code development and custom development on Dynamics 365 .

Dynamics 365 CRM Customer Service Workspace , including: Agent Experience Profiles Session Templates Workstreams Routing Case Management Knowledge Management Customer Service Workspace configuration Dataverse design and development.

Azure technology development and cloud-based solutions. .NET and C# development.

Java

Script development.

Custom Web API development . ASP.NET / .NET Core .

Entity Framework .

Azure SQL .

Dev

Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and development task boards .

Microsoft Power Apps , including: Model-Driven Apps Power Pages Canvas Apps Custom PCF controls .

Server-side templating using Liquid .

Experience working across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud service models.

Key Responsibilities Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications.

Develop detailed programming specifications and technical designs.

Design, develop, configure, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain applications.

Develop solutions using Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure, .NET/C#, Java

Script, and related Microsoft technologies .

Perform both low-code Power Platform development and custom Dynamics 365 development .

Configure and develop Dynamics 365 Customer Service capabilities, including Customer Service Workspace, case management, knowledge management, agent experience profiles, session templates, workstreams, and routing.

Develop and integrate custom Web APIs, ASP.NET/.NET Core, Entity Framework, Azure SQL , and other cloud services.

Design and implement integrations between Dynamics 365 and other Microsoft cloud technologies.





Develop custom PCF controls and solutions using Liquid server-side templating where required.

Participate in Agile development processes using Kanban/task boards and Dev

Ops practices.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated application deployment.

Troubleshoot technical issues arising during application implementation, operation, conversion, and migration.

Conduct application impact assessments and participate in design and technical walkthroughs.

Collaborate with IT professionals, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts throughout the SDLC.

Elicit, analyze, and document requirements and technical information from diverse business areas.

Provide post-implementation technical support and resolve application issues.

Prepare technical documentation, reports, reviews, assessments, user documentation, and system documentation.

Ensure solutions meet applicable accessibility and organizational standards, including AODA requirements.

Support application design, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.

Contribute to quality assurance from a technical perspective and provide technical leadership where required.

Requirements General Software Development Requirements The successful candidate should have experience with: Programming and software analysis at the senior level.

Structured methodologies for application design, development, implementation, and maintenance.

Object-oriented and/or third-generation programming languages.

Application architecture, design patterns, deployment, and troubleshooting.

Relational and hierarchical database technologies.

Query languages and information retrieval technologies.

Communications protocols and application integrations.

Internet-ready application development.

Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies.

Middleware and gateway technologies.

Installation scripts, including reviewing, modifying, encoding, testing, and debugging.

Data-driven application development and unit testing.

Application conversion and migration activities.

Post-implementation support.

Design walkthroughs with project teams.

User and system documentation.

Preferred / Desirable Qualifications Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Azure .

Robust understanding of Microsoft cloud architecture and services.

Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with Azure and other Microsoft cloud technologies.

Knowledge of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices .

Knowledge of AODA and related accessibility regulations and standards .

Experience providing technical leadership and overseeing technical quality assurance.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making,



communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.

Communication Requirements The candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to: Prepare clear technical documentation, reports, reviews, and assessments.

Present technical ideas and recommendations clearly to technical and business audiences.

Explain complex technical concepts in a user-friendly manner.

Work effectively with internal and external clients.

Collaborate with developers, architects, project teams, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts.

Maintain a high level of customer service throughout the engagement.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a Senior Dynamics 365 / CRM Developer with strong hands-on experience across Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Power Platform, Azure, Dataverse, .NET/C#, Java

Script, Web APIs, ASP.NET/.NET Core, Entity Framework, Azure SQL, Dev

Ops, and CI/CD .

Candidates must be comfortable working with both low-code and custom development approaches , designing integrations across the Microsoft cloud ecosystem, and developing sophisticated Dynamics 365 Customer Service solutions. 100% onsite attendance in Toronto is mandatory.

Candidates must be available onsite Monday–Friday during standard working hours.
