Location This role is in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.
This position has a term length of1 year and 1 day.
This competition will be used to fill one full time position for evening shifts (2pm to 10pm Tuesday to Saturday).
This position is located at the University of Alberta Hospital.
The successful incumbent will perform patient-oriented research, para-medical procedures, preparatory work and provide administrative support to various research studies.
Interaction with patients on obtaining informed consent, obtaining detailed histories/physicals and arranging follow-ups is an integral part of the activities of this position. The successful candidate will promote the importance of clinical research and act as a liaison between the research team, interdisciplinary clinical team (including Emergency physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and laboratory technologists), other research groups (mainly University and Alberta Health Services), industry representatives, and key stakeholders.
