Refrigeration Operator – Class B
Pay Rate: up to $50/hour
Location: North York, ON
Shift: Rotating shifts (weekends as required)

We are seeking an experienced a Refrigeration Class B Operator to join its growing maintenance team. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity within a high-volume production environment that offers stability, growth, and robust internal advancement.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot refrigeration and plant equipment

Operate and maintain ammonia-based refrigeration and freezer systems

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance

Support machining, fabrication, and equipment upgrades as required

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)



and food safety standards

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment

Qualifications & Experience

Valid Refrigeration Class B License (required)

Class 3 or Class 4 Stationary Engineer certification preferred

Millwright or Electrician license considered an asset

Minimum 3 years of related experience , preferably within food manufacturing or an industrial setting

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong multitasking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends as required
