Our client, a reputable signage company located in Ottawa's West End, is seeking a Sign Installer to join their growing team. Duties may include but are limited to:

Install and assemble a variety of interior and exterior signage at customer locations

Perform sign construction, preparation, and assembly to ensure quality installations

Safely operate a bucket truck to complete signage installations at heights

Drive a bucket truck and cargo van to and from job sites and customer locations

Load, transport, and unload signage, materials, and installation equipment

Conduct on-site measurements and ensure installations meet customer specifications and quality standards

Complete installations efficiently while adhering to workplace safety procedures and regulations

Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on company vehicles and equipment

Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude while representing the company at installation sites





Assist with additional shop and installation duties as required

Required skills and qualifications:

Previous experience in construction, trades, signage installation, or a related hand-on industry

Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools, with a strong mechanical aptitude (drills, grinders, etc.)

Comfortable working on ladders and performing installations at heights while following safety procedures

Experience working independently and managing tasks effectively at customer sites and project locations

Ability to read measurements and complete installations accurately and efficiently

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship

Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment on job sites

Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of troubleshooting and problem-solving in the field

Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and installing signage and related materials

Valid Class G driver's license with a clean driving record

Compensation:
$29.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience

Monday - Friday - 7:00am/9:00am - 4:00pm/6:00pm with occasional off hours approximately once per month
