This sessional role requires a strong Indigenous Medicines Knowledge Holder with at least three years of relevant teaching experience. You will guide students in understanding the interconnection between Indigenous healing practices and Western medicine through an engaging course workplace. You will be responsible for the curriculum's integrity and delivery of Indigenous perspectives in health practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and teach the BIO 330 course in Indigenous medicines
• Prepare and present learning materials effectively




• Support student success and address diverse learning needs
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback
• Foster relationships with Indigenous communities and Elders

Requirements:
• Reconized Indigenous Medicines Knowledge Holder
• Minimum three years teaching experience required
• BC Instructor Diploma or Teaching Certificate preferred
• Experience in land-based learning methodologies
• Commitment to cultural responsiveness and community engagement
