Drive impactful victim services initiatives as a Program and Policy Coordinator with the Government of Yukon in Whitehorse. Collaborate with communities, enhance training programs, and manage key funding strategies.
This full-time position focuses on coordinating victim services programs within the Department of Justice. Reporting to the Director of Victim Services, you will engage with various stakeholders and enhance the support for victims of crime. Essential duties include project management, community engagement, and implementing quality assurance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate programs for victims of crime
• Manage the delivery of the Crime Prevention and Victim Services Trust
• Engage with community agencies and build strategic partnerships
• Conduct research and analyze issues providing advice
• Ensure effective budget tracking and project management
Requirements:
• Experience in project coordination and implementation
• Skills in research, analysis, and advice formulation
• Knowledge of Yukon First Nation history and culture
• Coursework or experience in social work or related fields
• Robust organizational and interpersonal abilities
