What you’ll do Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair truck and trailer units to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Complete scheduled maintenance tasks, including inspections and service work, to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.
Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, tractor and trailer wiring, brakes, suspension, steering, and related components.
Follow all safety procedures, workplace policies, and maintenance standards at all times.
Coordinate repair schedules, manage purchase orders, and keep accurate maintenance records using computer-based systems.
We are looking for a dedicated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team and report to the Plant Manager. The ideal candidate is organized and self‑motivated.
Who we’re looking for Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification, or 2–3 years of equivalent experience gained through hands‑on work, training, or education.
Certification in ABS air brake systems.
Class 1 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement is preferred.
Able to regularly bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs.
You’ll also need Can effectively work with minimal supervision but also can work well with a team Passionate about career and supporting the feed industry.
Occasional on‑call after hours and on weekends.

and coachability.
