Become a Mechanical Designer with Insight Global on a 12-month contract focusing on nuclear tooling and automation. Lead design compliance with safety codes while verifying engineering requirements.

This position requires a minimum of 4 years of mechanical design experience. As a Mechanical Designer, you'll oversee the development of nuclear tooling while ensuring performance meets industry standards. Key responsibilities include conducting design reviews, performing analyses and simulations, and adhering to PEO guidelines throughout maintenance and design processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee mechanical design of nuclear tooling and equipment
• Conduct design reviews and analyses to verify requirements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety codes




• Perform engineering simulations within SolidWorks
• Take engineering responsibility as defined by PEO guidelines

Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years in mechanical design/engineering
• Proficient with SolidWorks and analysis tools
• Solid background in electromechanical sizing
• Experience in nuclear industry standards (CSA N299, N286, N285)
• P.Eng designation is required
