Key Responsibilities:
• Provide duty counsel representation for bail cases
• Negotiate with Crown counsel for client bail conditions
• Assist clients with bail plan preparation
• Offer legal advice during Brydges calls
• Maintain accurate statistical records of services provided
Requirements:
• Law Degree from a recognized school
• Minimum 2 years of criminal law experience
• Active member of the Law Society of Alberta
• Knowledge of Canadian criminal law, especially bail law
• Excellent problem-solving and advocacy skills
