Job Description
We are seeking an Embedded Software Test Engineer to join a growing team focused on testing and validating advanced automotive software systems.
This role will support the development, automation, and execution of software testing activities for cutting-edge ADAS and embedded vehicle technologies.
The successful candidate will work closely with software and systems engineers, contributing to software quality through test automation, regression testing, hardware integration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
We may use AI tools in our search and screening of Candidates.
Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of embedded software development and testing experience
Robust programming experience with: Python
C
C+Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and automation frameworks
Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts
Knowledge of ADAS software systems and embedded platforms
Experience working with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git
Hub, Gerrit, Jenkins, and Jira
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to investigate issues with limited information and work independently
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Master's degree in a related engineering or computer science discipline
Experience with Robot Framework or similar automation frameworks
Understanding of: Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
Motion Control
Automotive Networking
Powertrain Systems
Experience with:
OBDII
ISO 26262
ISO 14229
AUTOSAR
CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet
Exposure to machine learning or deep learning applications
Experience working with automotive sensors including cameras, radar, LiDAR, ultrasonic sensors, and IMUs
Familiarity with GPU computing
Knowledge of vehicle architectures, embedded hardware interfaces, and serial communication protocols
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
