IG is seeking a Mechanical Technologist with 2-5 years of experience to assist the engineering team. This role focuses on preparing 2D drawings, 3D models, and developing lift and rigging plans. You will also perform engineering calculations and support design improvements for up-tower equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and revise CAD drawings and models for cranes and tools
• Develop bills of materials and engineering records
• Assist in creating lift and rigging plans for component exchanges




• Perform engineering calculations under a Qualified Engineer
• Collaborate with Operations for tooling improvements

Requirements:
• 2-5 years as an engineering technologist or similar
• Proficiency in CAD software, SolidWorks preferred
• Experience with lifting equipment and heavy mechanical systems
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
