This role does not require prior experience as training is provided. You'll need a Secondary school graduation certificate and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A) to begin your journey. You will oversee vehicle condition, manage cargo safety, and fulfill documentation requirements while traveling for 40 to 60 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain permits for transporting cargo internationally
• Inspect tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage operations
• Conduct emergency roadside repairs as needed
• Manage pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Record cargo information and fuel consumption accurately
Requirements:
• Secondary school graduation certificate required
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement mandatory
• Class 1 or A Driver's License essential
• Willing to complete a driving record check
• Open to evening, daytime, or weekend shifts
