Build Your Career with The Best in the GTA
We're growing fast and we want people who want to grow with us. Whether you're picking up your first tool or wrapping up your 10th year in the trade, if you work hard and take pride in what you do, we want to talk.

From apprentices to licensed electricians, sales to software developers: we're building a team that will take Safer Electric nationwide. There's no ceiling here if you deliver.

We pay above-market. If you make us money, we give you money. Compensation is discussed openly during the interview process.

Real Growth
Transparent promotion paths. We promote from within before we ever look outside.

We sponsor hours, cover schooling costs, and mentor. The trades are a career, not just a job.

You're not a number here. What you do matters and people notice.

Quality Standards
We do things right. No cutting corners, no pressure to rush jobs that need time.

Advantages Package
Health and dental benefits for full-time staff, tool allowances, and company vehicles for field roles.

For New Entrants to the Trades
You Don't Need Experience. You Need the Right Attitude.
Our founder came up through the trades. We know what it takes to build a career from the ground up, and we know how to develop people who are willing to put in the work. The trades offer one of the clearest paths to a six‑figure income without a university degree, and the demand for skilled electricians in Ontario is only growing.

As an apprentice at Safer Electric, you'll work alongside licensed masters, log real hours toward your 309A certification, and learn on jobs that actually challenge you. We value the people who show up ready to learn, because that's exactly how we all started.

Willing to register as an apprentice with Skilled Trades Ontario

Physically able to perform manual labour (lifting, climbing, kneeling)

Reliable, punctual, and coachable (character matters more than experience)

Licensed Electrician (309A)
Full‑Time · GTA, Ontario

Bring your ticket and your standards. We run clean jobs: proper permits, proper gear, no cutting corners. You'll work on residential and light commercial projects throughout the GTA. We pay for quality work and reward people who take pride in it.

Valid Ontario 309A Certificate of Qualification

Minimum 3 years post‑certification field experience

Clean ESA inspection record

Valid G driver's license (truck provided)

Proficiency with residential panel work, rough‑in, and finishing

Field & Remote Sales Engineer
Full‑Time · GTA, Ontario (Field + Remote)

This is a high‑earning role for someone who genuinely likes people and can explain value clearly. You'll run estimates, close residential and commercial deals, and build relationships with property managers, GCs, and homeowners. We give you the tools, the leads, and the support. You bring the hustle.

2+ years of B2C or B2B sales experience (construction/trades industry preferred)

Comfortable running in‑home or on‑site estimates

Strong written and verbal communication

Valid G driver's license

Basic understanding of electrical services (we will train)

CRM experience an asset

Marketing Manager
We want to be the first name every GTA homeowner thinks of when they need an electrician. That's your mandate. You'll own our digital presence: SEO, Google Ads, social, email, content, and partnerships. This is a growth role with a clear path to Director as we scale nationally.

3+ years in digital marketing (agency or in‑house)

Strong SEO / content marketing background

Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and GA4

Can write well and brief designers / copywriters effectively

Home services or contractor marketing experience is a big plus

Software Developer
We're building the tech infrastructure for a nationwide electrical contracting company: scheduling, quoting, CRM integrations, customer portals, and more. We want a developer who can move fast, build things that actually work, and care about the end result.

Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js

Experience with REST APIs and contemporary databases (Postgres, Supabase, PlanetScale)

Ability to own features end‑to‑end

Experience with CRM or field service management systems is a plus

Portfolio of shipped projects

Operations Manager
Full‑Time · GTA, Ontario

As we scale, we need someone who can build the systems that let us grow without losing what makes us good. You'll handle scheduling, dispatch, vendor relationships, subcontractor management, and team coordination. If you're the person who fixes problems before anyone notices them, we want to meet you.

5+ years in operations, project management, or field service management

Experience in trades, construction, or a field service business

Strong with scheduling software, job costing, and process design

High EQ, because you'll be the person technicians, office staff, and management all rely on

PMP or similar certification an asset

Summer Internship
Seasonal (May to August) · GTA, Ontario

Still in school but want to see how a real electrical contracting company runs? This internship puts you inside the business, not in the break room. Depending on your background, you could be shadowing electricians in the field, supporting our marketing and SEO push, helping develop our quoting software, or working directly with the operations team. We take this seriously. The goal is for you to leave knowing things your classmates will figure out years from now.

Currently enrolled in a college, university, or trade program

Available full‑time for at least 8 weeks between May and August

Genuine curiosity about either the trades, business operations, sales, or technology

Self‑starter who does not need hand‑holding

Valid G driver's license is an asset (required for field roles)

Create Your Own Role
Think you can help Safer Electric grow in a way we haven't thought of yet? Pitch us. Seriously. We don't have every role figured out — we're scaling quick and there are gaps. If you see something we need (a smarter way to dispatch crews, a wholesale lighting channel, a training program, a relationship with a big GC) and you're the person to build it, we want to hear from you. Write us a short pitch: what you'd do, why it matters, and why you're the right person. We read everything.

A specific, concrete idea — not just "I want to work for you"

Relevant skills or experience that match what you're proposing

Ability to work independently and take ownership

Understand we are an electrical contracting company first, everything else second

Apply Now
We read every application. Fill out the form below, include a brief note about yourself, and attach your resume if you have one. We'll be in touch within a few business days if there's a fit.

Need electrical work done? We're just as good at that.
