Job Description
Our client is seeking a Product Developer to help bring packaging and physical product concepts to life.
This position sits at the intersection of creativity and technical execution, taking projects from initial concept and client requirements through development, sampling, production, and post-production review.
The successful candidate will work across packaging, rigid boxes, and cut-and-sew products, with a strong focus on paper, paperboard, and textiles.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing design, problem-solving, manufacturing considerations, and hands-on product development.
- Develop packaging, rigid box, and cut-and-sew products from concept through production.
- Create structural dielines, technical specifications, production artwork, technical flats, mockups, and print-ready files.
- Collaborate with Account Management, Creative, Operations, suppliers, and clients to move projects forward and resolve technical challenges.
- Review and approve technical specifications, artwork, samples, and pre-press files.
- Prepare presentation materials, visual proofs, and physical mockups for internal and client review.
- Coordinate sample development with suppliers and provide clear technical instructions.
- Review prototypes and production samples, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support production teams by answering technical questions and assisting with design-related manufacturing challenges.
- Maintain organized project files, version control, technical documentation, and revision histories.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of specifications, templates, and development processes.
Skills and Requirements
Diploma or degree in Product Design, Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Fashion, Textiles, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience developing physical consumer products, packaging, or cut-and-sew products.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
Experience creating or working with: Dielines

Print-ready files
Knowledge of packaging materials, paperboard, paper, textiles, and manufacturing processes.
Experience reviewing samples and turning feedback into transparent supplier instructions.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and version control.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
