About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Lead Industrial Engineer to manage and enhance their production operations in East London . This leadership role is critical for driving operational excellence, optimizing workflows, and implementing innovative engineering solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will lead a team of engineers, provide technical guidance, and champion a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of industrial engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for process optimization, waste reduction, and productivity improvements.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and validation of new manufacturing processes and systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and quality regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align engineering initiatives with business goals.




- Drive the adoption and continuous refinement of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial engineering , with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and project management.
- Proven leadership capabilities and experience managing engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, supply chain management, and quality control.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
