Duration: 1 Year Contract (to start)
Role Overview:
The Online Shopping Experience Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and measuring onsite digital experiences that support business objectives and deliver a seamless online shopping experience. This role manages recurring onsite programming and campaigns, working cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, Marketing, Merchandising, and other partners to continuously improve the customer experience through data, experimentation, and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Program Planning & Execution: Manage program planning documents, content calendars, copy and asset matrices, assortment files, timelines, and dependencies. Author and execute weekly onsite content across homepage, collection pages, personalization (P13N), growth campaigns, navigation, and search boosting.
Quality Assurance: Own pre-launch and launch-day QA to ensure onsite experiences align with program briefs. Resolve issues quickly, identify recurring QA trends, and recommend improvements to prevent future issues.
Reporting & Insights: Manage campaign and component-level reporting, translating performance data into actionable insights.
Product & Experimentation: Partner with Product and Analytics teams on new features, platform enhancements, SDUI migrations, bug resolution, and A/B testing. Use test results and customer data to identify opportunities for optimization.
SEO & Accessibility: Share quarterly SEO insights and recommendations while ensuring onsite experiences follow AODA and accessibility best practices.
Project & Process Management: Maintain Jira tickets, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and missing information while recommending improvements to team processes and documentation.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong cross-functional relationships and use data, insights, and storytelling to influence onsite experience decisions and align stakeholders.
Customer Experience:
Put the customer at the centre of decision-making, using data and critical thinking to identify opportunities and continuously improve the online shopping experience.
Must Haves:
Experience in eCommerce, Digital Experience, Onsite Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Content Management, or related field
Experience executing digital campaigns from planning and authoring through QA, Reporting, and Optimization.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate campaigns and customer data into clear insights and recommendations .
Knowledge of onsite SEO digital accessibility/AODA, and A/B testing best practices.
Experience working with product, analytics, marketing, merchandising, and other cross-functional partners.
