About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled and creative Lead BIM Coordinator to join their fully remote team. This role is instrumental in driving the adoption and effective implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across all project phases. You will be responsible for developing and managing BIM standards, coordinating multi-disciplinary models, and ensuring seamless data exchange among project teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the digital workflows of construction projects from a remote setting, collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to enhance project efficiency, reduce clashes, and improve overall project delivery through advanced digital technologies.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage company-wide BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
Lead the coordination of multi-disciplinary BIM models (architectural, structural, MEP, etc.) to identify and resolve design clashes.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate and comprehensive BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure BIM requirements are met and deliverables are achieved.
Manage the federated model and support the generation of reports, visualizations, and data extraction for project analysis and decision-making.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in BIM coordination and management.
Expert proficiency with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant platforms.
Strong understanding of construction processes and multi-disciplinary design coordination.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams and coordinate complex digital workflows.
