Salary: $90,000 to $110,000+ Depending on Experience
Technical Leadership. Quality Control. Project Coordination.

About the Firm
Our client is a well established and growing architectural practice with multiple offices across Western Canada. Known for its collaborative approach, strong technical expertise, and commitment to high quality project delivery, the firm works across a diverse range of sectors including multifamily residential, commercial, industrial, and community developments.

With a strong and growing portfolio of work throughout British Columbia, their Abbotsford office is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Designer or Senior Architectural Technologist to take a key role in the technical coordination and delivery of projects from Design Development through Construction.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, technically strong, and enjoys being the person who keeps projects coordinated, documentation accurate, and teams moving in the right direction.

Why Join This Team?
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative and established practice where experienced team members are trusted to take ownership and have a meaningful impact on project delivery.

Rather than being heavily focused on front end conceptual design, this position will play an important role once projects move into Design Development, helping guide them through documentation, permitting, consultant coordination, and construction.

You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of projects, with a strong emphasis on multifamily wood frame residential developments alongside commercial and industrial work.

The firm offers a supportive environment with strong mentorship, excellent work life balance, a stable pipeline of projects, and opportunities for continued qualified growth.

About the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take a leading role in coordinating projects from Design Development through Construction, ensuring drawings, consultant information, technical details, and project requirements are properly coordinated throughout the process.

This is a hands on project delivery role suited to someone who has excellent attention to detail and naturally takes ownership of quality control.

You will work closely with project teams to review drawing packages, identify coordination issues, resolve technical challenges, and ensure projects are progressing toward key milestones.

You will also act as an important link between internal project teams, consultants, contractors, and senior leadership, helping maintain communication, documentation quality, and overall project organization.

Strong experience with multifamily wood frame residential projects is particularly important, as this represents a significant portion of the firm’s current workload.
