Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Customs Broker on behalf of our client, a well-established Canadian logistics services company.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Customs Broker who is looking for a stable, professional role with a company that has a strong reputation in the industry. You’ll be joining a knowledgeable, team-oriented group of professionals in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organization, and strong client relationships are key.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in customs brokerage processes across multiple modes of transportation. You’ll play a key role in ensuring shipments are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with Canadian customs regulations.
What you’ll be doing: Process and complete customs documentation accurately and on time
Classify goods according to tariff coding and calculate duty and taxes on shipments
Coordinate and manage shipments across Air, Ocean, Truck, Rail, and Courier (LVS)
Prepare customer quotations and support clients with customs-related inquiries
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors
Ensure compliance with Canadian customs regulations and trade requirements
Handle Temporary Entries, Voluntary Entries, and other customs documentation
Manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment




Maintain accurate records and documentation within internal systems
What we’re looking for: CCS, CTCS, or other recognized Customs Broker skilled designation is required
At least 2 years of experience in customs brokerage
Strong knowledge of Canadian customs regulations, trade rules, and tariff classification
Experience working with multiple modes of transportation
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, adaptable, and professional with strong problem-solving skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Post-secondary education and/or relevant industry training is considered an asset
