The position will have the opportunity for overtime, extended hours, and weekends, as required by the site's leadership.Are you a skilled Carpenter with a passion for leadership? This is your chance to step into a role where your talent meets opportunity.In The Role You WillSupervise and mentor a team on-siteEnsure top-quality workmanship and safety standardsWork closely with site leadership and trades to maintain project flow and efficiency; support site logisticsAssist the team to lead construction activities in the field and ensure that construction goals are achieved and met or exceed client expectationsProduce work that results in an exceptional client experienceEnsure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high-quality standardsWork with the project team to meet milestones and completion dates according to the established project scheduleProvide clear direction to team members you're leading to ensure project targets are achievedAttend and provide input at project meetings and ensure that information is transmitted to those on your field teamAssess the target production goals, establish a team workflow,
and execute the plan to achieve itSupport staff through coaching and team huddlesEfficiently and safely use the relevant tools and equipment needed to produce the various assemblies and layouts for the projectSupport and maintain a healthy, happy, productive work environment and cultureMaintain a clean, organized, and qualified presentation of the work siteRequirementsYou are a skilled Carpenter that has experience managing construction teamsHolding a valid Journeyperson ticket is an assetCSTS 2020 & WHMIS 2015You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory/leadership roleBuildings/commercial experience is an assetYou have an understanding of construction phases, project schedules, and workflowsExperience in multiple phases of construction, from foundation work to finishingCan proficiently describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issuesCandidates must be legally able to work in CanadaCOME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY!At Jardeg, we power the workforce behind Graham and its trusted workforce partners, recruiting skilled trades and construction professionals who help deliver complex projects across Canada.
