Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Designer to join a top automation client on a 12 month contract.
You will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical design of nuclear tooling and equipment, and taking overall design responsibility for compliance with functional and performance requirements as well as industry/regulatory/safety codes and standards.
You will participate in design activities, design reviews, perform calculations/analysis/simulations to verify requirements, and take engineering responsibility for the design as defined by PEO guidelines.
Skills and Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design/engineering.
Proficient in Solid
Works
Strong ability to do analysis within Solid
Works
Experience with electromechanical sizing and engineering calculations related to loading, etc.
Automation background
Thorough knowledge of drafting principles.

Eng
Experience in nuclear industry, working in compliance with CSA N299, N286, or N285 standards.
