Job Description
We're looking for a Network Services Tech will work as part of the Network Services Team on customer locations, assisting with client specific projects to achieve optimum use of their networks by performing moves, adds, changes, fixes to hardware and software, as well as troubleshooting client concerns.
A Glimpse of What You'll do
Demonstrate robust communication and interpersonal skills as well as organizational abilities throughout client interaction
Assist with installing hardware when required by client
Support planned and unplanned client facility power downs
Assist with escalating any identified problems or hazards associated with client moves, adds and changes, cabling installations and fault rectification
Ascertain the best possible solution for incidents including escalation
Use the client Incident Ticketing system (NIRD) and Change Control systems
Ensure all change and fault records are updated
Provide appropriate handovers to other CEs at shift end
Run patch cables between patch panels and switches as well as wall jacks and end user devices as required by client ticketing system
Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
This role will have an estimated salary range of $85k-$95k CAD.

Ability to exercise sound judgment and develop creative solutions
Time Management, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Active pursuit of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other technology related field
Two years' experience in client/server environment preferred
