**Job Description**
We're hiring a Material Handler/
**Driver Apprentice**
to support transportation, warehouse, and field operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse, delivery, construction, or logistics experience who are looking to grow into a commercial driving career.
**Paid Class 3 license training is provided** .
**Responsibilities**
Assist drivers with deliveries, pickups, and transportation activities.
**Load, unload, and move materials weighing up to 70 lbs unassisted throughout the day.**
Perform frequent material handling in warehouse and outdoor environments.

Support warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations.

Complete inspection reports and shipment documentation using a smartphone.

Assist with vehicle inspections and basic equipment operation.

Learn vacuum truck services and environmental compliance procedures.
**Essential Skills**
Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse
Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including repetitive lifting, loading/unloading, and material handling up to 70 lbs.

Experience with shipping/receiving, order picking, loading, unloading, or freight handling is an asset.

Valid G Class driver's license with a clean driving record.

Reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Basic smartphone and data entry skills.

Previous experience in transportation, delivery, warehouse, logistics, construction, or industrial environments preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.

Willingness to obtain a Class 3 license through employer-provided training.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ottawa, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Ottawa,ON.
