Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Financial Advisory Services & Operations Manager to join a leading finance transformation and advisory practice.

This individual will partner with CFOs, Controllers, and Finance leadership teams to optimize finance functions, improve operational effectiveness, strengthen controls, and drive strategic transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of accounting expertise, finance advisory experience, project leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.

This role will lead client engagements, mentor junior team members, contribute to business development activities, and help organizations improve the way their finance functions operate and deliver value.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and manage finance advisory and transformation engagements from planning through execution and delivery.
- Partner with client stakeholders to assess finance operations and identify opportunities for process optimization and operational improvement.
- Facilitate workshops, assessments, and strategic discussions with Finance and executive leadership teams.
- Develop recommendations related to finance operating models, governance frameworks, process redesign, internal controls, and financial performance management.
- Review and provide quality assurance on client deliverables, presentations, analyses, and project documentation.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, resources, and stakeholder communications across multiple engagements.
- Mentor, coach,



and develop consultants and senior consultants through technical guidance and project leadership.
- Support business development initiatives, proposal development, client relationship management, and thought leadership activities.
- Contribute to the development of recent service offerings, methodologies, and market-facing initiatives.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership teams, including Directors, Controllers, and CFOs.

Skills and Requirements
- CPA, CA designation.
- 7-10+ years of experience in accounting, finance, consulting, advisory, or professional services environments.
- Strong experience supporting or advising Finance organizations on process, controls, and operational effectiveness initiatives.

Deep knowledge of:
- IFRS
- ASPE
- Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS)
- Internal Controls and Risk Assessment Frameworks
Experience with:
- Financial Reporting
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Financial Performance Management
- Finance Process Improvement
- Business Case Development
- Finance Transformation Initiatives
- Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle, including project planning, problem diagnosis, solution development, stakeholder management, implementation, and change management.
- Solid facilitation,



communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring junior resources.
- Experience with Finance Operating Model Optimization initiatives.
- Exposure to Shared Services transformations, Corporate Strategy, Business Technology Strategy, or Enterprise Transformation programs.
- Data analytics and visualization experience using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions, IPO readiness, organizational restructuring, or other significant business transformation initiatives.
- Previous experience within a Big 4 or consulting environment.
