Job Title: Marketing Coordinator, OSMH Foundation

Position Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the execution and coordination of the Foundation’s marketing and communications activities, supporting initiatives that drive donor engagement, community awareness, and fundraising success. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality, consistent, and engaging communications across digital and print channels, and ensures all content is aligned with the Foundation’s brand, voice, and strategic priorities.
Responsibilities:
Planning
Support the development and implementation of marketing and communications plans aligned with Foundation priorities and fundraising initiatives
Assist in maintaining integrated campaign calendars and content schedules across all communications channels
Track and report on marketing and communications metrics, including engagement, reach, and performance indicators
Identify opportunities to improve content performance and audience engagement through data and insights
Support long-term planning initiatives such as campaign rollouts, annual communications strategies, and key publications
Marketing & Digital Execution
Maintain the Foundation’s social media channels, including:
Content planning and scheduling
Day-to-day posting and monitoring
Engagement and community interaction
Executing digital advertising campaigns
Maintain and update the Foundation’s website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with campaigns and priorities
Monitor and respond to website inquiries and social media messages/comments in a timely and professional manner
Track and analyze performance across digital channels, including email, social media, and website analytics, and recommend improvements
Ensure all digital content is aligned with brand standards, tone, and messaging
Content Development & Storytelling
Coordinate and develop content for marketing and fundraising initiatives, including:
Campaign messaging
Donor impact stories
Program updates
Write and edit a variety of communications materials, including:
Website content
Email content
Social media posts
Donor and stewardship communications (e.g., thank you letters, impact updates)
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather stories, testimonials, and content inputs that highlight the impact of donor support
Coordinate the planning and execution of photo and video shoots, working with external partners and internal teams
Maintain and organize a content library of stories, photos, videos, and campaign materials
Communications & Publications
Coordinate and support the development of key Foundation publications, including the annual report and other donor-facing materials
Provide writing, editing, and coordination support for stewardship communications, including donor acknowledgements and tax receipt messaging
Assist in the development and execution of integrated communications plans for campaigns and initiatives
Ensure all communications materials are accurate, consistent, and aligned with Foundation messaging
Support internal communications and coordination to ensure alignment across teams
Design & Creative Coordination
Provide design and production support for marketing materials, including digital and print assets
Coordinate with external designers, printers, and creative partners on the development of marketing materials and campaigns
Support the development of creative briefs and project timelines for campaigns and communications projects
Ensure all materials adhere to the Foundation’s brand guidelines and visual identity
Administrative Duties
Maintain organized records of marketing materials, content assets, and project files
Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and approvals across marketing and communications projects
Assist with budget tracking and invoicing related to marketing and creative services
Support vendor coordination, including agencies, designers, and production partners
Assist with proofreading and quality assurance for all communications materials
Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Marketing, Communications & Events team as required
Qualifications:
Education:
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field.
An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Ongoing professional development in marketing, digital communications, graphic design, fundraising, or related disciplines is considered an asset.
Experience:
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience creating and managing content across multiple channels, including social media, websites, email, and print materials.
Experience coordinating marketing campaigns and projects from concept to execution while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience creating graphic design assets for digital and print applications and experience with graphic design platforms such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
Proficiency with digital marketing tools, content management systems, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
Experience managing and updating website content using content management systems.
Experience planning, implementing, and optimizing paid digital advertising campaigns using Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting on marketing performance using analytics and reporting tools.
Experience in the non-profit, healthcare, fundraising, or charitable sector is considered an asset.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for storytelling and creating compelling content.
Strong graphic design and visual communication skills, with a keen eye for branding, layout, and attention to detail.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities.
Creative, innovative, and proactive in identifying opportunities to increase awareness,
engagement, and support.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and use insights to inform decision-making.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, donors, volunteers, hospital staff, physicians, vendors, and community partners.
Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
