As a fixed-term instructor, you will report to the Principal and Enhancement Manager while designing culturally relevant programming. Essential responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction, preparing lesson plans for diverse learners, and monitoring student progress in Mi’gmaq language skills. Your role as a facilitator of Mi’gmaq culture will significantly impact students’ understanding and appreciation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging Mi’gmaq language instruction
• Create lesson plans tailored to student needs




• Monitor and evaluate student language progress
• Foster an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom environment
• Collaborate with Mi’gmaq community members for cultural activities

Requirements:
• Fluent in Mi’gmaq language
• Minimum of five years teaching experience preferred
• Robust knowledge of Mi’gmaq culture and traditions
• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required
• Commitment to student success and cultural understanding
