About the Role Our client is seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join their established finance department in East London . This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial reporting. You will be involved in the month-end close process, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting standards and practices, working within a skilled office environment.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries for all financial transactions.
Reconcile various general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and other relevant accounting regulations.




Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
2-4 years of experience in financial accounting.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS) and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
