Engage students at Vancouver College as a Senior School Physics Teacher during a maternity leave position. Teach AP Physics, Physics 11, and Physics 12 while participating in co-curricular activities.
This full time role requires a commitment to teaching and engagement in student learning within an all-boys educational environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong pedagogical skills, a working knowledge of differentiated instruction, and the ability to cooperate with colleagues. Coaching experience is a plus, as the school values extra-curricular contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Senior School Physics courses including AP Physics
• Foster collaboration with fellow educators
• Participate in co-curricular activities beyond school hours
• Implement differentiated instruction techniques
• Utilize technology to enhance learning experiences
Requirements:
• Practicing Roman Catholic with a current pastoral reference
• BC Ministry of Education Certificate of Qualification
• Strong understanding of current teaching methodologies
• Experience with student assessment practices
• Willingness to coach or engage in extra-curricular activities
