Make a significant difference for individuals with developmental disabilities as a Clinical Educator at Hopewell Support Services in Guelph-Wellington, ON. This full time role blends coaching, direct teaching, and implementation of clinical strategies.
As a Clinical Educator at Hopewell, you will provide hands-on support and training to staff, ensuring that clinical plans are effectively integrated into daily routines. Your responsibilities will include direct skill teaching, monitoring progress, and facilitating communication between clinical teams and frontline staff. You'll help build the capacity for high-quality, person-centred support while developing essential skills for individuals we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Educate and coach staff on Behaviour Support Plans
• Monitor and observe support implementation in homes
• Teach replacement skills directly to individuals
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Maintain thorough and confidential clinical documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field
• One year experience with developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of ABA principles and interventions
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Valid class G driver’s license
