As a vital member of the AgeCare team, the Recreation Worker plans and implements diverse recreation and leisure pursuits tailored to residents. You will facilitate activities that promote wellness, community, creativity, and lifelong learning while enhancing personal connections. Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and run engaging daily recreation activities
• Create supportive environments for resident participation
• Communicate effectively with residents and their families




• Observe and document changes in resident participation
• Support all departments in fostering resident engagement

Requirements:
• Experience with seniors in long-term care
• Diploma or degree in recreation or related field
• Understanding of wellness domains and therapeutic programming
• Ability to assess and document care plans
• Motivated by serving seniors with dignity and respect
