Job Description
The Cloud Engineer, AKS Technical Lead will lead the design and implementation of a new Azure Kubernetes Service container platform.

This resource will be responsible for building the platform, supporting the migration of pilot applications and demonstrating that the applications operate successfully within the new environment.

The engineer will work directly with client stakeholders, provide technical guidance and remain hands-on throughout delivery.

This is an initial remote engagement expected to run approximately 8 to 10 weeks, with potential for future work based on project success and client demand.

Skills and Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience building and configuring Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) container platforms
- Experience designing and standing up container environments in Microsoft Azure
- Experience supporting application containerization and migrating applications onto Kubernetes platforms
- Ability to lead a proof of concept or pilot, including moving initial applications onto the platform and demonstrating that they work successfully
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Kubernetes, containers and Azure cloud infrastructure
- Client-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions, provide updates and work directly with client stakeholders




- Comfortable operating as a hands-on technical lead rather than a project manager
- Experience helping organizations establish reusable container-platform standards
- Exposure to Red Hat Open

- Experience supporting pilots that later scaled across a broader application portfolio
- Relevant Microsoft Azure or Kubernetes certifications
