Lead youth support initiatives with Directions Youth Services, a division of Family Services of Greater Vancouver, as a Senior Youth Worker. This full time role focuses on mentoring and assisting at-risk youth in transitioning to healthier lifestyles.

In this 35-hour week position, you will take charge of case management, ensuring safety, and guiding Youth Support Workers in the Directions Day Program. Your expertise will assist homeless and street-involved youth in gaining access to community resources and services. Engagement in crisis intervention, harm reduction, and conflict resolution will be crucial in this mentoring role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide intake and assessment for new clients
• Support youth with crisis intervention and harm reduction




• Collaborate with local agencies for case management
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and policies

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field
• Minimum one year experience with at-risk youth
• Training in Mental Health First Aid and CPR is preferred
• Successful Criminal Record Check
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills
