The Licensed Practical Nurse plays a crucial role within the Unit 3F3 Surgery Program, providing patient-centered nursing in an acute surgical setting. As an LPN, you will assess and implement care plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for ensuring safety and delivering high-quality patient care through your critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Monitor and document patient changes effectively
• Provide teaching and counseling for patients and families
• Assist patients with daily living activities
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited practical nurse program
• Active or eligible registration with CLHA
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting
