Overview As a Tax Manager, you will be a part of our Private Tax practice, advising private organizations and high net worth individuals on domestic and cross‑border tax planning, estate and wealth transfer, post‑mortem planning, asset protection and philanthropic planning. Key Responsibilities Recommend and implement tax strategies that align with clients’ objectives. Correspond with legal counsel and tax authorities on client issues. Assist with reorganisations, researching compliance and planning issues, and reviewing personal, corporate and trust tax returns. Skills and Attributes Identify planning opportunities and prepare correspondence describing the income tax implications of transactions. Research client issues from planning or compliance work using online sources. Liaise with clients’ legal counsel, CRA,



provincial ministries and audit managers. Prepare tax election forms and manage personal and trust tax compliance seasons. Excellent written and verbal communication, teamwork, organization and time‑management skills. Qualifications An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting and/or a related major. 5+ years of relevant tax experience. Canadian CPA designation. Completion of CPA In-Depth Tax Courses (or equivalent) is a plus. Robust teamwork and time‑management abilities. Benefits $5,000 per year for mental health support benefits.
